ノルウェーのオオカミ保護
ノルウェーの友人よりノルウェーのオオカミ保護に署名してほしいとの連絡があったので今日参加しました。
海外のサイトでこちら になります。
日本ではとうにオオカミは絶滅してしまいましたが、
ノルウェーでも動物の環境は厳しくなっているみたいです。

Forvaltningsstyret i Rendalen kommune har søkt om felling av Osdalsulvene.
Direktoratet har sakt nei, med god begrunnelse.

Forvaltningsstyret anker saken og anken skal være hos DN innen mandag 23. mars.
DN skal behandle saken og sender den så videre til Miljøverndepartementet. Da blir dette en politisk avgjørelse.
Status på ulv i Norge i dag:
Osdalsflokken har intakt foreldrepar. De vil sannsynlig yngle til våren.
I Kynnaflokken har man ikke kunne dokumentere intakt foreldrepar.
Julussatispa var sporet med ny partner (Ivan). SNO har foreløpig ikke klart å finne han under forøk på merking forrige uke. Rykter sier at han og en tispe er skutt mellom Elverum og Åmot.
Konklusjon: Sannsynlighet for yngling i 2009 er foreløpig kun hos Osdalsulvene. Staten må ta større hensyn til at denne flokken er viktig for bevaring av ulv i Norge, enn at den oppholder seg i et område som man av en eller annen politisk grunn har sakt skal ligge utenfor ulvesonen.
Norge skal ha 3 årlige ynglinger av ulv.
Local authorities in Rendalen have applied for
permission from state authorities (Directorate for nature management,
DN) to take out the Osdal wolves. It was declined, with good reason:
An appeal is being prepared from local authorities and will be
delivered by Monday 23 March to DN. The appeal will be sent over to the
Ministry of the Environment. The final decision may be a political one.
Wolve status in Norway today:
The Osdal wolves have one adult couple intact, and a breed this spring is
probable. The Kynna pack has no adult couple as far as anyone knows. The Julussa bitch was spotted with a new partner (Ivan), but the Russian
wolf was nowhere to be found when SNO (Norwegian Nature Inspectorate) last week
looked for the wolf to have it marked with GPS-equipment. Rumour has it
that Ivan and a bitch were shot somewhere between Elverum and Åmot.
Conclusion:
Only within the Osdal pack there is a possibility of breed in 2009. The
state authorities have to take greater responsibility, as these wolves
are important for the future of wolves in Norway, and not put so much
weight to the fact that the wolves stay outside the politically
determined wolf zone. The national assembly (Stortinget) aims at 3
annual breeds among Norwegian wolves. Norway is internationally
obligated through the Bern convention and the Biodiversity convention.
